Introduction:
During this class, you can choose to make one of these festive holiday door greeters:  Raffia Scarecrow, Hoot 'n Annie or Gobler Galore.  This is the supply list for Hoot 'n Annie.  This is a fun Zoom class using a fusible grid system to create your project.   Since this is an online class, you'll need to be able to access Zoom during your class.

Fabric Requirements:  An optional fabric kit is available -- just click here

If not using the kit, you'll need scraps or fat quarters of the following

8 assorted blacks - body & ears
Gray print - head & wings
3 assorted oranges - feathers
Ivory - eyes
Yellow - beak

3/4 yard for backing

Notions Needed
Pattern:  Hoot 'n Annie
3/4 yard fusible fleece
TWO panels of Quiltsmart 1 1/2" grid
Rotary cutter --  check out our favorite here
Acrylic ruler & cutting mat
Regular sewing thread such as Masterpiece
Unique Stitch
Microtex sharp needles
Applique pressing sheet
Pins and clips (Wonder Clips available here)
Marking pen
Sewing machine -- we won't be using the machine in the first class
Walking foot
Large ironing service

Class Preparation:  Please complete the following prior to the start of the first class.  If you have any questions at all, just call us at 716.810.9088 or email us at info@PatchworkGardenQuilting.com

Cut 2 7/8" squares of the following fabrics:
48 assorted blacks
20 gray
18 ivory
  2 yellow

From 3 different orange prints, cut:
  2 squares of #1 orange (candy corn)
10 squares of #2 orange
  6 squares of #3 orange

Refer to the Cutting & Assembly Guide inside the pattern to make half-square triangles.  You'll only get one half square triangle from two squares.  Make the following half-square triangles:

2 yellow/black
2 ivory/gray
4 ivory/black
2 gray/black
6 from #3 orange/black
8 from #2 orange/black
2 from #2 orange/gray
2 from #1 orange (candy corn)/gray
