After retiring 20 years ago, Buffalo native and now-octogenarian Frank Stanko used his newfound time to indulge his inner artist. His hobby has become a passion and he is now a skilled craftsman producing bold and polished wood-turned pieces. Stanko’s striking creations rely on using a wood lathe, along with hand-held tools, to cut a shape that is symmetrical around the axis of rotation. He also harvests much of his own native wood supply, occasionally using exotic (imported) woods to add color to his designs. His wooden magnetic needle nannies make a striking and beautiful gift for any sewer. (Needles are not included.) To separate the magnets, just slide, don't pull.
Please note these needle nannies include rate earth magnets which are not toys. The magnets themselves are brittle, breakable and can chip fracture if not handled carefully. Please keep away from electronic media, heart pacemakers and small children. Please handle with care for separated magnets can snap back and pinch your kin. Swallowing any magnet can be dangerous so please consult a physician immediately.
